|IAT provides a basic overview of COA's accreditation process including the history, philosophy, milestones, and rating system; the COA standards including an overview of the most often missed standards; how to organize and develop the Self-Study document and how to assess organizational readiness. IAT is recommended for those who are NEW to working with COA including staff from organizations going through reaccreditation.
For MFR program staff it should be noted that this training focuses on the Private, Public and Canadian accreditation process and standards. The steps in the process are similar, but the timeframes are different. COA recommends that MFR program staff contact their COA coordinator before they register for this training. This training is not intended for Hague Accreditation or Approval, After School, and CYD. Approved for 13 NASW CEU Credits.|
